Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal financial datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for Treasury leadership using Tableau
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on economic impact studies and fraud detection initiatives
- Present findings to senior officials through compelling data visualizations and written briefings
- Maintain data pipelines for real-time financial monitoring systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement of federal data analytics frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal data systems
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Strong understanding of financial data structures and economic indicators
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, AWS Data Analytics) preferred
