Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends and support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and security adherence to federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights for program evaluation
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees as required
- Stay current with federal data governance frameworks and emerging analytics technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal data analysis or government data roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
- Deep understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, Privacy Act)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
