- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder presentations
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST standards)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements and deliverables
- Present findings to senior leadership with actionable recommendations
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation processes
- Stay current with evolving federal data regulations and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience analyzing federal or government-contracted datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal compliance requirements (FISMA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in remote settings while meeting deadlines
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one (required for federal projects)
