Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on strategic data initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Implement data quality frameworks and continuous improvement processes
- Support federal reporting requirements and transparency initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal government or regulated industry
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data standards and security protocols
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
