Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to support defense operations and policy decisions
- Develop and maintain automated reporting systems for real-time data visualization
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data privacy and security protocols (FISMA, NISPOM)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to align data strategies with national security objectives
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive dashboards and briefings
- Optimize data pipelines using ETL processes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Conduct statistical modeling and predictive analytics for threat assessment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal government data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for advanced analytics
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and BI platforms
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, NIST) and compliance frameworks
- Experience with geospatial analysis and GIS technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory precision
