Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling tools
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST) and documentation standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support policy recommendations based on data trends
- Design automated data pipelines to improve efficiency and accuracy of federal reporting
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal or government data
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, FOIA)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and ETL processes
