Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale financial datasets to identify trends and inform federal policy decisions
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for Treasury systems
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and quality control measures
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support financial crime investigations and compliance audits
- Document methodologies and findings according to federal reporting standards
- Stay current on evolving data privacy regulations including FISMA and HIPAA
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal data systems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and security protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop)
