Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets related to land management, wildlife conservation, and energy resources
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL and Python for federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI to support executive decision-making
- Ensure all data analysis adheres to federal privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA) and accessibility standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to align data strategies with federal initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise, data-driven briefings and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets or regulated industries
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and ETL processes
- Strong understanding of federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position
