Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies affecting economic policy
- Develop and maintain secure databases using SQL and Python to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive briefings
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies and reporting frameworks
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA) and security clearance protocols
- Present findings to congressional committees and senior officials through concise, compelling narratives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal government or regulated entities
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance within 90 days
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling techniques and experimental design
- Experience with big data platforms (AWS, Hadoop) and cloud-based analytics
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
