Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, FOIA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Present findings to senior leadership and federal agency partners through executive briefings
- Maintain documentation of data processes, methodologies, and quality standards
- Stay current with evolving federal data governance frameworks and analytical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal/government compliance knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, FOIA) and security protocols
