Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support federal reporting requirements.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, establish reporting metrics, and improve data quality standards.
- Ensure all data analysis activities comply with federal regulations, security protocols (FISMA, OMB Circular A-123), and agency policies.
- Perform statistical modeling and forecasting to predict outcomes and support strategic decision-making for government stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data lineage, processes, and analytical methodologies.
- Prepare clear, concise technical reports and presentations for senior leadership and government clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or government contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Deep understanding of federal data standards, security compliance, and privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret) as required.
