Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support veteran service initiatives
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify trends in veteran healthcare outcomes
- Present findings to congressional stakeholders through clear visualizations
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Tableau or Power BI certification with portfolio of federal dashboards
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with veterans' affairs data systems (Vista, Blue Button) strongly preferred
