Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large volumes of federal data. You will work closely with program managers to translate raw data into strategic insights, ensuring compliance with strict government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate federal datasets to ensure accuracy for reporting.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analysis to support federal policy decisions and program evaluation.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data standards, NIST guidelines, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership and federal auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Strong understanding of federal data security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
