Role Summary
As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data analysis, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with federal regulations. You will work directly with program managers to identify key performance indicators and provide data-driven strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large-scale datasets from diverse federal sources using SQL and Python.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform policy and operational decisions.
- Ensure strict adherence to Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and data governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for complex data manipulation and analysis.
- Ability to obtain or hold an active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, including FedRAMP, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
