Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and interpret complex datasets from various federal sources and internal systems.
- Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers that inform strategic decisions.
- Compliance: Ensure data integrity and strict adherence to federal regulations, security protocols, and data governance standards.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed, actionable reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and federal clients.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and Python or R for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
- Tools: Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with federal data standards (e.g., FIPS, OMB Circulars) and data security best practices.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or Google Data Analytics Certificate is a plus.
