Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2) and security protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to support criminal investigations through data-driven insights
- Design and maintain automated data pipelines for real-time monitoring systems
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, actionable reports and briefings
- Maintain documentation of data methodologies and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal government data analysis or regulated industry
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in federal data security protocols (e.g., CIPP/US, CISSP)
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Understanding of federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive information with appropriate security clearance eligibility
