Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various federal systems and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, including statistical analysis and forecasting models, for government clients.
- Maintain documentation of data processes, schemas, and analytical methodologies in compliance with federal standards.
- Assist in the preparation of responses to audits and compliance reviews related to data governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (e.g., Secret) is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical audiences.
