Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop complex data models and statistical analyses to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal regulations and internal security protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sectors.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a plus.
