Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform raw data from multiple federal sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI to drive decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and data summaries for senior leadership and government clients.
- Perform rigorous data quality audits and implement best practices for data governance and security compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize analytical workflows.
- Stay current with federal regulations and industry best practices regarding data privacy and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience in the federal sector or with government contractors.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and managing large datasets.
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik) is required.
- Familiarity with federal data standards (e.g., FIPS, NIST) and compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
