Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support agency objectives and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for reporting and visualization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and deliver actionable insights through dashboards and reports
- Ensure adherence to federal data standards, FISMA compliance, and security protocols
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive summaries and data visualizations
- Continuously improve data quality through validation protocols and anomaly detection
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests for program evaluation and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal or regulated data
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, 508 compliance)
- Strong experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
