Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support strategic defense planning
- Develop automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, and R for real-time reporting
- Create interactive visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for stakeholder briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with program managers to define KPIs and performance metrics
- Document analytical methodologies and maintain data dictionaries
- Present findings to senior leadership in clear, actionable formats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis or DoD environment
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Strong understanding of federal data governance frameworks
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (required)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with DoD data systems (e.g., DCMA, DISS)
