Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret classified federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify security trends and vulnerabilities
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for Department of Defense leadership using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, NIST) while maintaining data integrity protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to deliver real-time analytical support for defense operations
- Design and implement automated data pipelines to streamline federal reporting workflows
- Conduct statistical modeling to predict potential security threats and resource allocation needs
- Maintain meticulous documentation of analytical methodologies and data sources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal data systems and classified datasets
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R programming
- Certification in federal security protocols (e.g., DoD 8570.01-M)
- Proven track record with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with defense-specific data frameworks (e.g., DEERS, DCII)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical writing skills for executive-level reporting
