Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies for federal land management projects
- Conduct site assessments and ecological impact analyses across Nevada's protected areas
- Collaborate with tribal, state, and local agencies on resource conservation initiatives
- Prepare detailed technical reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage environmental permitting processes for infrastructure development projects
- Lead public outreach programs to promote sustainable land-use practices
- Monitor regulatory compliance and emerging environmental legislation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal environmental compliance or land management
- Valid federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental impact assessment software
- Demonstrated experience with NEPA documentation and regulatory frameworks
- Strong written communication skills for technical reports and policy briefings
- Ability to conduct fieldwork in remote desert and mountainous terrain
- Knowledge of Southwest US ecosystems and conservation challenges
