Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity protocols across classified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on government networks
- Develop incident response plans for security breaches
- Train federal staff on security best practices and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with federal agencies on security initiatives
- Manage access control systems and encryption protocols
- Prepare compliance reports for OMB and NIST standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal security or DoD environment
- Active Security+ CE and CISSP certifications
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Expertise in FISMA, NIST 800-53, and CMMC frameworks
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
