Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure and systems for federal agencies
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments, incident response, and threat mitigation
- Manage cloud migrations and hybrid IT environments using AWS/Azure/GCP platforms
- Develop and maintain IT documentation including SOPs, network diagrams, and security policies
- Provide technical leadership for cross-functional IT projects and system integrations
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations including FISMA, NIST, and CMMC standards
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct technology training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience with federal systems or regulated industries
- Active Security+ CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570 certification
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and federal cloud migration strategies
- Proficiency in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Demonstrated experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain federal security clearance
