Responsibilities
- Provide tier-two technical support for federal desktop computers, printers, and network connectivity issues.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and software licenses in accordance with federal standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement security protocols and ensure data integrity.
- Conduct training sessions for federal employees on new software applications and security best practices.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Completion of an Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic networking concepts is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Check and Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
- Must be available for a flexible part-time schedule, including occasional evening or weekend shifts.
