Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal IT systems during weekend operations.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical government applications.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, NIST standards, and agency IT policies.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and security audits on assigned schedules.
- Document technical issues and resolutions to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Schedule: Must be willing and able to work weekends (Friday through Sunday, alternating weekends).
