Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal IT security protocols across classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on agency infrastructure
- Monitor security alerts and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security with federal government experience preferred
- Professional certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) or equivalent
- Proficiency in security tools (Splunk, SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
- Knowledge of federal IT security policies and compliance requirements
