Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation
- Manage identity and access control systems for federal networks
- Provide security awareness training to federal personnel
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and CMMC requirements
- Collaborate with NC-based federal agencies on security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security
- Active Security+ CE and CISSP certifications
- Experience with FedRAMP and CMMC compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical and incident response capabilities
