Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain agency-wide network infrastructure, including firewalls, servers, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive financial data and systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for 500+ federal employees
- Oversee system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT project implementation
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal IT security standards
- Document IT policies, procedures, and system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with federal IT systems and security protocols
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and federal data systems
- Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
