Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage and maintain federal network servers, operating systems, and application software to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols in accordance with NIST and OPM guidelines to protect sensitive federal data.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to federal employees, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, security audits, and incident reports.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to federal stakeholders.
