Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot federal network infrastructure and servers.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST cybersecurity standards and federal regulations.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Provide tier 2/3 technical support to federal personnel and resolve complex IT issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and implement security patches to prevent breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- 3+ years of experience supporting federal or government IT environments.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
