Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot complex federal IT systems and networks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations, OMB Circulars, and HHS IT policies.
- Lead the planning and execution of IT projects, including software upgrades and hardware deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Monitor system performance and analyze data to proactively address potential security vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff and federal stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports on system status, security incidents, and project milestones for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or software engineering within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to undergo a background investigation.
