Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and application software according to federal standards.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Assist in the security compliance and auditing of IT assets to meet government regulations.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders to identify root causes of technical issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Familiarity with federal IT standards, protocols, and security requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric service orientation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
