Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of federal IT systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all system implementations strictly adhere to federal regulations, FedRAMP, NIST, and agency-specific security policies.
- Requirements Analysis: Gather and analyze complex technical requirements from government stakeholders to translate them into actionable technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement optimizations to improve user experience and data throughput.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and change management logs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, security analysts, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT systems analysis, specifically within the federal contracting or government sector.
- Clearance: Current active Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or .NET, with experience in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with senior leadership and technical teams alike.
