As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials, managing inventory, and maintaining compliance with federal regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Inventory: Monitor stock levels of federal supplies, process orders, and ensure accurate inventory tracking within the warehouse system.
- Federal Compliance: Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the handling, storage, and transportation of government materials.
- Weekly Payroll Management: Process timesheets and payroll information to ensure accurate and timely weekly pay for all warehouse staff.
- Coordinate Shipments: Schedule and coordinate the pickup and delivery of federal shipments, working closely with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, bills of lading, and inventory logs required for federal audits.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of inventory to ensure condition and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a US Citizen and eligible for government security clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field within a government or manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with federal clients and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime or weekends as needed for federal operations.
