Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses on assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail efficiently using USPS sorting equipment
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Collect and process postage payments from customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with mail inquiries
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking
- Reliable transportation to and from the post office
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
