Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols of federal facilities using advanced surveillance systems
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with federal protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security assessments
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and communication equipment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of perimeter security systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California Guard Card and firearm permit (if applicable)
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Successful completion of federal background investigation
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in varied weather conditions
