Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities using advanced monitoring systems
- Respond to security breaches and emergencies with rapid, coordinated protocols
- Operate x-ray scanners, metal detectors, and other security screening equipment
- Maintain detailed incident logs and security reports in compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint security operations
- Conduct access control procedures for personnel, vehicles, and cargo
- Participate in regular security drills and threat assessment exercises
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with active security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Proficiency in security technology systems (CCTV, access control)
- Strong observational skills and threat detection capabilities
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
