Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm responses, initiating appropriate protocols for security breaches
- Perform access control for personnel, vehicles, and sensitive areas using federal clearance protocols
- Document security incidents and daily activities in detailed digital and physical reports
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency response situations
- Operate advanced security equipment including X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and communication systems
- Conduct emergency drills and threat assessments to ensure facility compliance with federal standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance (required)
- Minimum 3 years of security or law enforcement experience (federal/military preferred)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with security technology systems (CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during overnight shifts
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Pass federal background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions
