Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal premises during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct access control screenings and verify credentials for personnel and vehicles
- Respond to security incidents and alarms with appropriate escalation protocols
- Prepare detailed security reports and maintain incident documentation
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Operate advanced security equipment including X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Enforce federal security regulations and conduct routine inspections
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (mandatory for federal employment)
- Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and polygraph examination
- Proficient in CCTV systems and access control software
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
