Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with rapid deployment protocols
- Conduct comprehensive patrols of federal facilities and perimeters
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials using advanced screening technologies
- Document security incidents with detailed reports and coordinate with federal agencies
- Operate specialized equipment (CCTV, metal detectors, X-ray scanners)
- Implement emergency response plans during critical incidents
- Train junior personnel on security protocols and SOPs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
- Proficiency in security software (CCTV access, incident reporting systems)
- Physical fitness for extended standing/patrol duties
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Knowledge of federal security regulations (FISMA, HSPD-12)
