Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure federal facilities during night hours to prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to ensure the safety of all personnel and assets
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in accordance with federal protocols
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of all activities
- Screen visitors and employees to ensure compliance with security procedures
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Operate security systems, including CCTV and access control systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Pass a background check and drug screening
