Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal premises during night shifts
- Conduct security screenings and access control for personnel/visitors
- Respond swiftly to security breaches and emergency incidents
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with federal agencies and local law enforcement
- Enforce federal security protocols and safety regulations
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring and alarm systems
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical fitness for standing/walking patrols (8+ hours)
- Familiarity with federal security guidelines (FIPS 201, P.L. 107-296)
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
