Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct patrols of federal facilities during night shifts
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of personnel and visitors
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations per federal protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical events
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with DHS and TSA security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency with surveillance systems and access control technology
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical security duties
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
