Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility surveillance systems and respond to security alerts during night shift hours
- Conduct routine patrols and access control checks to prevent unauthorized entry
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during emergency incidents
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed shift reports
- Operate advanced security equipment including biometric scanners and motion detectors
- Train junior security personnel on federal protocols and emergency procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with DHS and facility-specific security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, military, or federal security
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring systems and security software
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in all weather conditions
