Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts during overnight shifts
- Conduct physical patrols of federal facilities and perimeter security checkpoints
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Document security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and coordinate with law enforcement
- Operate emergency response equipment and assist with crisis management drills
- Maintain compliance with federal security regulations (FISMA, DHS directives)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security/law enforcement experience or military background
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays consistently
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Proficiency in surveillance systems and security software
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
