Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly perimeter patrols and surveillance operations at federal maritime facilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to alarms within 5-minute response time
- Enforce federal regulations and security protocols for cargo vessels and personnel
- Document security incidents with detailed reports and coordinate with federal agencies
- Operate advanced screening equipment and conduct random inspections
- Maintain constant communication with command center during shift rotations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or military security experience
- Proficient in CCTV operation and access control systems
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
- First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of hire
- Pass federal background investigation and polygraph examination
