Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Conduct security screenings and access control for personnel and vehicles
- Respond to alarms and emergencies with rapid, coordinated actions
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with federal agencies and local law enforcement
- Operate specialized security equipment and communication systems
- Maintain constant vigilance against security threats and vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in surveillance technology and access control systems
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical fitness to stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
