Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:
Claims Processing: Review and process VA claims forms (VA 21-526EZ, VA 21-526EZ) with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to veterans and their families via phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding benefit eligibility.
Documentation: Ensure all case files are complete, organized, and compliant with federal regulations and privacy laws.
System Management: Utilize the VA Information Resources Management (IRM) system and other federal databases to update claim statuses.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for federal employment.
Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
